Sacred Earth Activism was formed by in response to hearing the call for profound change and transformation that needs to take place if we want to live sustainable, humane and fulfilled lives, infused with a sense of connection to earth and the sacred.
The sickness of society is a sickness of separation, greed and profound inequality on every level. We therefore believe that this process of transformation needs to lead from separation to conectedness, from fragmentation to wholeness, from the thriving of the few to the thriving of all life on this beautiful planet.
We believe that if we want to envisage and birth the new, we need to remember our connectedness to all things, ground ourselves in our relationship with the Earth, listen to the call of the sacred and bring that through us for positive change.
Sacred Earth Activism therefore works with the intent of bringing the sacred and earth-centered spiritual actively into the web of change through supporting, co-ordinating and initiating movements, protests, resistance initiatives, projects and change-makers.
Our focus is on ecological movements in the widest sense, as well as initiatives which work towards connecting communities, people and institutions with earth, nature and the sacred.
Our current focus is on sacred water, sacred lands and sites, the right to roam and ecocide / climate change. We work with and support various organisations with our platforms and actions, create and organise our own events as well as conferences and talks.
